In the Takito inn a very powerful ruler stayed the night. he brought his most prized possession a ruby. This ruby was one of the most sac rid items to him and his ancestors it coasts a lot of money.
One night when the ruler and all of his guards were asleep the ruby was stolen.

4. Seikei
Seikei was up one night and saw the theft with the ruby

5. Seikei Seikei is a young 14 year old boy.
His life long dream is to be a Samari.
But he can not because he is not related to a samari at all and you have to be blood related to a samari to be a samri
He is the son of a merchant.

6. Suspects Michico- Girl seikei likes.
Judge Okaka- Judge who helps Seikie find the Thieft
Tomonie- Boy who knows seikei.

7. Seikei sees a ghost that looks like a demon.
He calls this demon a jikinini.

8. Clues Michico- she was out walking the night when the ruby was stolen
Tomonie – Angry at the lord for stealing his landing and killing his parents.
Judge Ooka – he wants to be rich and knows his way around the Inn

9. Type Of Novel?
Gothic novel- Because there is a ghost and it is a book about trying to find the ghost and trying to find the person or Ghost who stole the ruby.

Judge Ooka and Sekei have little time to find the thief before the ruler gets mad.
