7 Make sure you use full sentences to describe.
If you bullet-point or list you will be restricted to lower level 1 - just 1 or 2 marks!

8 Make sure you write out any explanations in the correct order.
Adding numbers to diagrams and linking them to you written answer is one way to do this. Arrows on diagrams of plate boundaries to indicate direction of movement show sequence.

9 Some processes you might use in paper 2:
Erosion: ASHA - Abrasion, Solution, Hydraulic Power, Attrition Transportation: TSSS - Traction, Suspension, Saltation & Solution Deposition Plate boundaries: Convergent, Divergent & Conservative

10 Find the 6 mark question and answer it first!
The 6 marker is often the last question. Many students run out of time and don't even answer it. 6 out of 15 is 40% of your marks!

11 Remember the 'thumb rule'
The 6 mark questions will usually ask you to include a case study, or a case study is one way of achieving the level 3 mark. Remember the 'thumb rule'

Taking into account reading, thinking & checking time you should be working on the basis that 1 minute = 1 mark
