3 Mission, Vision, Goals Our Vision
We are a multicultural community growing and learning together. We refuse to compromise on the excellence our children and community deserve. We are driven by our passion and core beliefs resulting in limitless outcomes for all of our children. We partner with families to foster the development of informed and curious citizens who have all the tools necessary to achieve at the highest levels and who are empowered to question, challenge and change the world. We always put students first.  Our Mission We are a community of learners driven towards excellence daily guided by our unrelenting belief in our children and in each other. We act with urgency because what we do together will change the world. We validate and affirm our children honoring who they are while acting with a passion for who they will become.

Brand new assessment-100% computer based Results-we don’t know Reading 63% on grade level-increase by 2% Additional 30% grew by 1.2 reading levels 93 percent either on grade level or increased by 1.2 grade levels Moving on Up to 100% on grade level

5 Goals 80% of our students will read on grade level---we will keep moving up to 100%. We will decrease our referrals and suspensions. Suspensions dropped by over 60% this past year We will increase our on time daily attendance. We need students here every day learning.

9 Flamboyan Partnership
35% of the school has had their HOMEVISIT!! Our Goal is 80% of our students get a home visit. If you haven’t had yours yet, schedule it tonight! We do alternative Parent Teacher Conferences called Academic Parent Teacher Team Meetings-your grade level will be scheduled for the week of October 5th-we cannot wait to see you then!

11 Title I We are a Title I school because over 98% of our students qualify for free and reduced price lunch according to federal guidelines We get additional federal funds in order to help all of our students achieve including: Attracting highly qualified teachers Providing professional development to increase effectiveness increasing parent engagement and involvement Providing research based programs and interventions to students to support academic and social emotional growth

12 Title I We create a comprehensive school plan to identify our needs and then action plan to address them We will use APTT meetings to share data progress We will also update regularly and share information at our monthly parent breakfasts This also means parents have additional legally protected rights to know about: Teacher quality Academic progress Homeless services Academic programming

13 Structure Go to teachers’ classrooms and meet your teachers
