6. Word of the Week
This week the word is tepid. When describing a liquid tepid means slightly warm.
Tepid can also mean unenthusiastic. Use this word in a sentence like this: ‘When he took a shower, the water was tepid. Here is another sentence example: ‘In response to the announcement, the applause was tepid’.
