2 Job Description Film development initial period, is mainly responsible for drawing the curtain set or build the set design and the task of building designers. Set designer is not synonymous with artists. In the contemporary art creation in the film, set knowledge, undertake the task which belong to a part of the overall art designer, a set of professional is more and more widely, not only has a movie set, also a wedding set, car set designer, aquatic set designer, family "set" and so on.

3 My short term goals; My short term goals is study hard and do more practice to increase me .Every class I will hear more carefully .And let my every class teacher like me.

4 My long term goals; My long term goals is can go to a good university like, UBC .That can achieve my dream and let my parents happy.And then I want get a stable job

5 WHY do I want purse the career?
Because I think am good at painting, and I have painted for 5 years. And I think become a set designer can make a lot of money. I can support myself with high salaries.

6 Skill and Characteristics needed.
You’ll need to be creative and imaginative. You’ll also need to be good at communicating with people, have good organisational skills and work well under pressure.

7 Needed courses in Post-Secondary.

The Stagecraft and Event Technology Diploma Program provides pre-employment training, upgrading and transferability for students interested in a career within the entertainment industry. The program provides a combination of academic and practical experience with courses in stage lighting, audio techniques, set painting, computer assisted drafting, multimedia technology, stage management and stagecraft for TV and film. 9 Potential Hurdles My English is not good so I must study hard for my dream. For being admitted into a top university, so I have to improve my English.
