I will update the link with more info to get you more as the week goes along. Pace yourself according to the students needs. You have 3 CT (special ed classes), 2 Pre-AP, and 2 regular . 2nd and 3rd period are small classes , so I take my time in those classes, extra pauses between tasks. This will help pace the rest of your classes according to their stopping point. Know that you will need to have the rest of the periods complete tasks that 2nd and 3rd pd did. So don’t rush 2nd and 3rd period too much, Depending on where they finish continue from there for the next day. The rest of the classes range from students. Here I go at what seems as a quicker pace but only Because they are larger classes it takes longer for all students to complete the tasks and also consider re-teaching/re-explaining. Try to finish at the same stopping point 2nd and 3rd period . This will help with the day by day flow of your classes.

Show the students the first slide to remind them of what topic we are still on.
They should have this CELL CITY pasted in their notebook. Allow them to copy the answers onto their notebook. Give a 2 min time limit.

6. READ as a class
Read this informational text with the students as a class.
Choose one student to start reading one paragraph and have that student choose the next reader.
After both, this slide and the next are read, have student take out the cut outs that are taped to the back or front of their notebooks . They had cut these out on Friday as well.

8. All eukaryotic cells have organelles and each organelle has a unique structure and function.
However, not all cells have the same organelles. Use the background information to identify the
structure and function of plant cell organelles and animal cell organelles.
Have a student read this to the class.
Please emphasize
Students now use the cut outs and the table they prepared on Friday to decide where the cut outs should be placed. Whether in the STRUCTURE column, the FUNCTION column AND if its for PLANT or ANIMAL.
Allow students work in groups . Pass out the copies of the informational text , ONE per GROUP, Give them 20 min to place but not paste yet the cut outs. They can use the informational text to guide them. After time is up, show the answers to them which is on the next 2 slides , but do not allow them to paste yet.
Discuss answers, have them store their cutouts in the pouches again for use in the next day.
Next day give time in groups again, with informational text , then allow for pasting if they are certain of the placement. After time display answers again and allow for pasting using the slides as a guide.

They should use the previous charts they created to guide them on what are the appropriate labels for each.
