SATOC Opportunities New Single Award Task Order Contract(s) (SATOC): Four (4) regional SATOCs (Train, Advise, and Assist Command (TAAC) West, East, South and North) TAAC West includes the following provinces: Badghis, Herat, Ghor, and Farah TAAC East includes the following provinces: Bamyan, Ghanzi, Patikha, Wardak, Parwan, Logar, Nuristan,Konar, Panjshayr, Kabul, and Kapisa TAAC South includes the following provinces: Daykundi, Uruzgan, Zabul, Kandahar, and Helmand TAAC North includes the following provinces: Jowzjan, Badakhashan, Kunduz, Takhar, Baghlan, Samangan, Balkh, Sar-e-pul, and Faryab Each SATOC will have up to $10M capacity Duration of each SATOC will be up to three (3) years (one (1) base and two (2) one-year options) Awards made under 886 Authority SATOC task orders between $2K and $8M until capacity is exhausted New and experienced contractors to gain valuable skills Variety of work including Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, and Site-Adapt construction projects

(TI) Minor MATOC (shared $49.5M capacity): State Women Corporation (SWC) Sadath Business Group LTD (SBG) Kahkashan Balkh Building and Road Construction Assist Consultants Incorporation (ACI) On-Ramping Process May be necessary if existing contractors are unable to compete Government re-evaluates proposals of offerors advanced to Phase II but did not receive a contract award. Government determines which of those re-evaluated would receive an award and become part of the MATOC.

CONTRACT LESSONS LEARNED
Lessons Learned on Completed and Existing Contracts Fire Extinguishers Counterfeit fire extinguishers – know how to tell the difference Fire Doors Must be strictly in accordance with the plans and specifications in the contract If contract calls for certified doors, ensure those are provided Ensure the appropriate labels are affixed to fire rated doors by the manufacturer prior to receipt and installation by the construction contractor European made, tested and certified (by European standards) fire doors do not conform to USACE contract standards Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) Ensure the specifications in the contract are followed
