Created 1991 for the purpose of serving Michigan’s small and midsize manufacturers, the MMTC is a not-for-profit organization of approximately 50 full-time staff professionals, part of the federal Manufacturing Extension Partnership supported by the National Institute of Standards Technology (NIST) - U.S. Department of Commerce.
