Lack of sufficient public support and recognition to migrant entrepreneurs.
Necessity to promote migrant entrepreneurs’ innovation for regional economic growth.

Understand how migrant entrepreneurs add value to the territory and how regional authorities empower the local opportunity structures to promote the former’s innovation
Disseminate best practices and lessons learned on ‘migrant entrepreneurs – regional public actors’ dialogue in Europe.

4. Main activities and results
Meetings with migrant entrepreneur representatives to understand the main activity constraints in their innovation process and explore ways to overcome them.
Workshop to promote the exchange of experience at the EU regional level on the implementation of sustainable opportunity structures for migrant entrepreneurs.
Elaboration of regional case-studies for the final Compendium.
Results
The production of a “Compendium of Best Practices and Lessons Learned” and potential policies mix for improving the ‘migrant entrepreneurs and the regional public actors’ competences in dialogue, targeted services designing and implementation, capitalization of best practices in the territories.
