3 About tonight’s speaker, Mr Richard Cooper….
Richard is a Senior Consultant at Jamieson Christie Wealth Management & Employee Benefits Richard started his career with HMRC and has an excellent knowledge in pensions and their taxation. Richard has been involved in training and advising companies on cost effective and strategic pension planning for over 20 years. Over the last 3 years he has regular presented to a range of different audiences on the impact of workplace pensions and effective implementation for companies including salary exchange

Tonight’s event will focus on: Update on Auto Enrolment The real and current issues faced by companies Effective use of Salary exchange for forthcoming increases Pension Regulator Update There will be some time for Questions & Answers too.

6 Changes afoot within the Branch !
The Branch is changing. There are a number of new initiatives starting in 2017 and we need your help to make our Branch succeed! Nationally AAT Branches are driving the usage of Social Media . . The team is changing too, from 1st January 2017, the new Branch Committee will be: Ajay Prabhakar – Chairman Michael Beech – Vice Chairman Steve Hands – Treasurer Maryna Stukalova – Secretary Hakam Dhiman – Events Co-Ordinator

We will be phasing out & closing down the webpage in 2017. We are moving everything onto Facebook and Twitter. . The 2017 Events Programme will be announced on Twitter & Facebook next week ! Check out our Social Media Pages regularly, so that you keep up to date with everything happening in YOUR Branch !

Your AAT Birmingham Branch is looking to increase the numbers attending in Do you know there are approximately 2,000 AAT Members and Students in the Birmingham Area, yet we only have attendances between 25 and 40 per event? AAT Nationally have indicated that the use of Social Media can help, plus putting on Popular Events that people want to see. We will be starting a consultation process in Spring of 2017 for the 2018 Events with YOU. What do you want to see? What are your ideas so we can get 60 people coming for every Event?
