Strathcona Hotel is associated with two companies which are North Hamptons and Silver Hotels. There are Strathcona Hotels in other Canadian cities too but they are all managed by independent management companies. CAA ratings system Strathcona Hotel uses trip advisor and expedia ratings and comments to receive feedbacks from guests

Perks and Highlights- Majority of amenities are small and practical, basic accommodations Smart Rooms- Two twin, one double, two double, one queen, one king Considered an upgrade from economy rooms. Perks and Highlights- Desk, Television with cable, phone with voice mail, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, etc.

Executive Rooms- One queen, one king, two double, two queens. These are considered the mid-level rooms. Perks and Highlights- Flat screen tv, satellite cable, larger washrooms, climate control air conditioning Executive Suite Considered the most lavish rooms Perks and Highlights- Glass showers, marble floors, Swiss products ( lotion, shampoo, sanitizer), personal safe, complimentary newspaper, central air system and controls.

11 Human Resources Most significant department in many regards can be considered the front desk department. Small Hotel equals more efficient work. Green initiatives-They were one of the first hotels in Toronto to have a completely non-smoking property They purchases environmentally friendly light bulbs, recycling bins, installed low flush toilets and low pressure showers Note-worthy thing this hotel provides is soap and shampoo dispensers instead of bars of soap and small shampoo bottles
