African-Americans, who in the past were isolated into black unions, have in less than five decades develop into the main ethnic group in basketball and football, in spite of the actuality that they merely compose 12.6% of the American demographics. At present, black athletes comprise 77% of the National Basketball Association, 64% of the Women’s National Basketball Association, 65% of the National Football League, and 15% of Major League Baseball

10 Conclusion The account of race and sports is fairly notable. Before, whites used to lead sports. These days, sports is an extremely varied group. Nevertheless, the view on the effect of race on sports is extensive. The way how sports is consumed and participated is widespread throughout the globe. At present, technological advancements enables communities to get into several means to consume and participate in sports.
