3 About the poetress

4 Esther Morgan was born in Kidderminster and in 1992 worked as a volunteer with the Wordsworth Trust, then she worked full-time for Cheltenham Arts Festivals. She studied for an MA in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia, where she also edited four volumes of the contemporary poetry anthology, Reactions ( ). She also taught creative writing at the same university and is a tutor for the Arvon Foundation. She won an Eric Gregory Award for her poetry in 1998.

5 Her first collection, Beyond Calling Distance, was published in 2001, won the 2001 Jerwood Aldeburgh First Collection Prize and was shortlisted for the Mail on Sunday/John Llewellyn Rhys Prize. Her second collection was The Silence Living in Houses (2005). She currently works as Editorial Assistant and Manager of Historic Recordings for The Poetry Archive project and teaches Creative Writing at the University of Oxford. Her most recent collection is Grace (2011), shortlisted for the 2011 T. S. Eliot Prize

6 Her work In 2001 Esther Morgan's first collection Beyond Calling Distance was awarded the Aldeburgh First Collection Prize and was shortlisted for the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize. Her second collection The Silence Living in Houses appeared in 2005 to much critical acclaim, and as John Burnside commented "Esther Morgan's first collection promised that there was a significant poetic talent in the making. The Silence Living in Houses makes good on that promise…This is poetry of the first order by a poet who really knows how to sing. r

8 Herein this poem Esther Morgan had shown the un equality and the system of male dominant of our society in the form of poem. The centre point of the s poem is a women as a poetress had use she to describe the main character of her poem . The word which she had lost is the (NO).

9 The word no is very short as well as to easy to utter but it takes courage and firm will and determination to own it and bring the change you wanted to be. We should say no with our full courage when ever we fell that something is not right .if not ,then what is the difference between us and the animal who had became a victim of many cruel man.
