Egyptians believed in gods which also meant they had to believe in good or bad luck . It was believed that if a cat was in a household and kept as a pet, it would bring good luck. The Egyptian culture consisted of ancient arts. The art of the ancient Egyptians was never meant to be seen by the living—it was meant to benefit the dead in the afterlife. 7 Luxor Hotel, Las Vegas Over the years Egypt has gotten more and more popular - so popular that they have a hotel in shaped of a pyramid. This hotel is one of the most remarkable hotels I've ever seen or heard of. The Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas has a beam of light that only shows at night. It also has a huge sphinx as a walk way to the hotel. It also has lots of little sphinxes for decoration. This Egyptian-themed casino resort on the south end of the Strip is housed in a 30-story pyramid topped with a 315,000-watt light beam. The creator of this hotel’s name is William G. Bennett, and we should thank him for creating such a beautiful landscape.
