3 Summary of Activities - 2014
Main Activities Main activities Providing marketing information on projects for donation, including fundraising pages, fundraising suggestions, and promoting priority projects. These materials constitute the basis for fundraising and are used by fundraisers and donors. Based on the information provided by the department, KKL Israel received funds for some 170 projects. 1 . Strengthening fundraising infrastructure Two comprehensive publications: One covering last year’s donated projects and another on donated projects of the past decade. The material reflects the extent of activity thanks to donations, giving credit to the donor countries, the donors, and those involved in marketing; provides proof of achievements made possible through donations and of the international scope involved, helping to mobilize donors and countries to take part and donate. 2. 7 Main activities Production of updated materials on KKL-JNF’s core activities; a showcase for KKL-JNF’s work; used by all delegations and donors visiting Israel and distributed at international conferences. The material provides KKL-JNF optimal visibility. Sections on the Resources, Development & Public Affairs Division website (Partnership Site), according to specific topics, serves as resources for countries’ web sites, in their productions, and KKL-JNF news articles. Marketing products that support donor activities and are identified with KKL-JNF’s achievements. They include new items and repeated orders of products and are used by KKL-JNF’s leadership and offices abroad as gifts and for distribution at various events. In general the annual amount in stock determined by the previous year is never sufficient; i.e. the demand grows annually. 6 international marketing stories which we shared with KKL-JNF offices received positive feed-back; serve as inspiration for marketing. 10 annual “Hot Issues” newsletters with updated project information and marketing resources used by KKL-JNF world offices for articles, mailings, designs, presentations, events, etc. Production of items that support marketing as requested by KKL-JNF offices abroad; tens of productions sent to offices worldwide as per specific requests. Marketing aids for visiting donors and delegations; tour brochures according to projects/region that contribute to strengthening the connection with donors and provide details on the broad spectrum of KKL-JNF activities. 21 Main activities About 30 designs on seasonal themes were mailed and uploaded to the Partnership Site. Many countries wait for new designs to use on their websites, in brochures , mailings, calendars, etc. 4. Designs for the seasons and holidays of the year Supporting campaigns around the world and preparing materials to promote them; materials often serve as the basis for respective campaigns. Projects promoted in campaigns subsequently receive donations. 5. Campaigns The Resources, Development & Public Affairs Division Partnership Page website is the place to find a wide range of KKL-JNF resources reflecting KKL-JNF’s activities and used by KKL-JNF throughout the world in preparing marking materials. The site is continually updated with marketing information and ideas, including all materials produced by the department and other KKL-JNF divisions: All productions, PowerPoint presentations, written materials and designs are uploaded to the site. Material is translated as per request and used by KKL-JNF offices worldwide as is or as a basis for productions with changes in language and emphasis, as needed, to help the respective countries’ marketing and fundraising. 6. 26 Main Activities Producing materials for the World Leadership Conference with information on KKL-JNF activities and gratitude to donors; further serve as marketing tools. Throughout the year, much printed material and fundraising products were sent to KKL-JNF world offices, as per their requests. Keeping up with orders required restocking a number of times during the year. 7. Producing materials for conferences in Israel and abroad The site is now faster, more inviting and easy to search. We have invested thought and study into the site’s design with emphasis on marketing (colors, fonts, titles, heading classifications). Donor pages can be produced online automatically, with links to information sources. 8. Upgrading the Partnership Site יש

These materials are written with emphasis on donor appeal; their relevance to sustainability, the environment and people’s well-being. 1. Increase in fundraising Producing updated written materials on KKL-JNF’s core activities. Presenting sections according to subject on the Partnership Site; new, user-friendly format. Marketing products for fundraising; new and re-ordered products. Sharing international marketing experiences/stories. Mailing monthly newsletter chockfull of relevant information to keep you in the loop. Producing fundraising products as per requests from KKL-JNF world offices. Distributing marketing aids to donors and delegations visiting Israel. Uploading all materials to the Partnership Site to help you in your marketing work. 2.
