9 Security What risks does use of the service mitigate?
Personal safety & security Continuity of information access How does the service mitigate risks? The digital signage service is a part of the Cornell emergency notification system, able to provide mass notification to all CUView displays of emergency situations. DirecTV service is delivered to the campus head end by satellite. In the event of a loss of external network connectivity, this would allow continued delivery of news and information.
