Use the map found on page 113 of the textbook to analyze the impact of the Proclamation of 1763: What did the Proclamation of 1763 state? How do you think the colonists felt about the proclamation? Why did the British government believe the proclamation was necessary? Why would Britain have wanted to prevent conflict with the Native Americans?

Use the British debt chart found on page 114 of the textbook to evaluate the financial consequences of the French and Indian War. Why did Britain need to raise money? How did Britain plan to raise the revenue it needed? Why did British leaders feel that this policy was "fair”?
