Use a range of tools and equipment with increasing control, including jugs to pour, dough tools and mark making tools, appropriate scissors and threading activities.
Beginning to draw circles and lines, beginning to use a 3 fingered grip when using mark making tools.
Turn pages to look at books, and handle books with care.

Develop confidence on Nursery play climbing equipment.

Leaving carer and settling into Nursery.

Things you can do to help your child at home
Naming colours, counting and recognising number 1 and beyond
Teach them to put their coat on and off

Help them to hold a pencil correctly to scribble and mark make
Read stories to your child and sing rhymes with them
We are aware that the older children may be able to do many of these targets already.
All children will be moved along the learning curve at their own rate and level through play and activities linked to their interests.
