Famous People and Events From The Revolutionary War

3 Who am I? I was the King of Britain during the Revolutionary War

4 Who am I? I was a British General who surrendered at Yorktown.
This surrender marked what many feel was the end of the Revolutionary War on October 18 , 1781.

5 Who am I? I was a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
I was the second president of the United States. It has been said that I “championed the cause for independence”.

6 Who am I? I was a philosopher and had ideas about how governments should act. I identified three “natural” rights including Life, Liberty and Property. My ideas helped The framers to write the Declaration of Independence

7 Who am I? I was the commander of the Continental Army.
I led troops through the harsh winter of at valley Forge where many soldiers died by freezing or starving to death.
