6 Kinder Safety is #1 At no time is parking allowed along the yellow drop off curb. Continue to pull forward and teachers will assist child into the car.

10 AM Arrival AM Kindergarten classes begin at 8:00 AM
Students enter through the north gate and walk directly to the Kindergarten yard. Parents escorting students to the classroom must park on the residential street or across the street at the church. No parking at the drop off curb.

11 AM Arrival Please use the crosswalks at the trail crossing and at Craig Ave. If you arrive after 8:00 AM you will be marked tardy for attendance.

12 PM Arrival PM Transitional Kindergarten & the Kindergarten class begins promptly at 11:25 AM (Gate opens at 11:10AM) Students enter through the north gate and walk directly to the Kindergarten yard. Parents escorting students to the classroom must park on the residential street or across the street at the church.

13 PM Arrival Please use the crosswalks at the trail crossing and at Craig Ave. If you arrive after 11:25 AM you will be marked tardy for attendance records and must check in through the office.

14 Dismissal Classes will dismiss at the north gate at the top of the driveway. For all dismissals please note that there is no parking along the yellow curb at any time.

15 Dismissal If you wish to meet your child at the gate for dismissal please park on the residential street or across the street at the church. Please use the crosswalks at the trail crossing and at Craig Ave. Students attending campus childcare or needing bus pick-up will be escorted by staff.

16 Preparing for the kinder day!
…and a healthy breakfast gets us all off to a great start!

17 Preparing for the kinder day
Wear closed-toe shoes. (Sandals and dress shoes are not appropriate for play) Please label all sweaters & jackets with your child’s name. Friday’s are Spirit Days – please wear your Grizzly shirt or a purple, black, or gray shirt to celebrate. .

18 Newsletters and homework
Newsletters will be sent home on a regular basis or on your teacher’s class website. Homework will begin in August. Kindergarten Homework assignments go home on Mondays in purple folders and need to be returned on Fridays in the same folder.

19 Supply List A suggested supply list will be handed out in your child’s classroom. All Transitional Kindergarteners & Kindergarteners will benefit from using a Grizzly Bag for the coming year.

20 Family Support Parents are asked to read daily with their child.
Please send a small, healthy snack with your child each day.

21 Volunteers We LOVE volunteers!
Please let the teacher know when you are available on the volunteer sign up sheet (see your child’s teacher). All volunteers must read and sign the Volunteer Handbook (in the office).

22 Medications Any medication, prescription or over the counter, must be housed in the office with a doctor’s note. There is a form for keeping medication in the office. This form is available in the office.

23 First day Pics! You are welcome to take 1st day pictures in the morning outside of the classroom. We kindly ask that family members do not enter the classroom the first week of school.
