8 Behaviour Change/Service Delivery - Positive Discipline
Positive Discipline is an approach to parenting which aims to reduce the physical punishment of children. Positive Discipline in Everyday Parenting is a child-rights based parent training programme, developed in 2005 by Professor Joan Durrant (University of Manitoba, Canada) and Save the Children Sweden. Positive Discipline itself is targeting parents and not children, but the right to be heard is present throughout the entire programme.
