10 Single Ended Powered Lamps - Issues
High installation costs Requires socket bar to be removed to re-wire all lamp holders Often requires new non-shunted lamp holders to be installed Safety Replacement with a fluorescent tube shorts the power line through the lamp filament Loud arcing could result with a hazardous condition for the installer CONFIDENTIAL

11 Simple Installation Before After
Disconnect Power from the Fixture Cut ballast leads to disconnect them from lamp holders and power line Remove ballast (may be optional) Connect all lamp holder leads from left side of the fixture to one side of the power line Connect all lamp holder leads from the right side of the fixture to the other power line Apply label to fixture indicating that fixture has been retrofitted to a new lamp Re-Connect power No need to remove the lamp holder bar to rewire lamp holders. Uses existing lamp holders, shunted or non-shunted. CONFIDENTIAL
