. This traditional game can be played by a number of players (mostly players). You need spoons and eggs according to the numbers of players. All players must put the spoon in their mouth and carry the egg on the spoon but in our kindergarten the children hold the spoon with hands for hygiene reasons. When all the players are ready someone will give the signal to start. The first one to get to the finish line without the egg falling from the spoon is the winner. If the egg falls before the finish line the player is immediately disqualified.

4. Sakoulodromies Sack race
It’s a team game! The players get inside a Large bag which is made of cloth! They hold it at the waist. They run by making small jumps. They try to reach the finish line first without falling down. If there are a lot of players, they can be divided in two or more teams!
This is fun with everybody falling over all the time!!

Rope is a fun game. The children take a long piece of rope. Then the children are divided into two teams. One team holds the rope from one side and the other team holds the rope from the other side over a line. After that the teams must pull each other until one team gives up or pulls the other team over the line!!

6. To pontikaki kai to gataki The mouse and the kitten.
Children stand in a circle Some kids have the mouse role and they stand inside the circle. Another kid has the cat role and stands outside of the circle
Children go around and sing a song about a cat and a mouse. Eachtime a mouse come out of the circle the cat try to catch it .

7. Afka afka poulw ta selling eggs
Children sit in a circle and sing a Cyprus song about selling eggs .A child runs around holding a towel .The child leaves the towel behind the back of a child sitting. Once the child finds the towel takes it and chases the child that left it. If the kid does not reach the other kid before sitting in his place takes his place and starts from the beginning.
