Romans 5:6-8 “For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward, us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” 2 Corinthians 8:9 “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.”

You respond by laying down your life for Him! WORD STUDY: Look at 3 Greek words to help us know how we are to lay down our lives. tithemi = to lay down (your life for the Lord) apotithemi = to lay apart/aside; put away/to death paristemi = to present or give (your life to God) All 3 of these refer to what we should do in response to Jesus giving His life for us.

The Greek Word paristemi There is another way we will be presented to God. 2 Corinthians 4:14 “Knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and will present us with you.” If you have that hope of being presented to the Lord for all eternity, then you need to be giving and presenting your life to Him now.

Romans 14:10 “For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.” If you hope to stand before the throne ready to meet the Lord, you need to be standing up for Him now. Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus
