4 Accident cause no. 1: Not yielding the right of way
In around 2/3 of collisions with motorcyclists that result in serious injuries or fatalities, the other persons involved are either solely or partially at fault. 7 Tips to save your neck! Allow for other road users failing to see you.
Drive defensively, look ahead and observe the rules of the road. Do not exceed your skills – especially on heavy and powerful motorcycles. Wear good motorcycle gear – even for short trips. Ride a motorcycle fitted with ABS. Have a safe journey! Motorcycle/scooter 2017

Jacket Long-sleeved jacket made of abrasion-resistant material such as leather or denim Better protection is afforded by motorcycle jackets made of leather or abrasion-resistant material and fitted with elbow and shoulder protectors in compliance with standard EN plus a back protector (to standard EN ) Conspicuous colours, reflective stripes/jacket Gloves Leather gloves at least; leather motorcycle gloves made of abrasion-resistant material are even better Motorcycle/scooter 2017
