Matt. 17:1-5 “his face did shine as the sun” God declared His Son to have preeminence 2 Cor. 4:6 Light to shine out of darkness Shined in our hearts To give light of the knowledge Ps. 119:105 “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

Hanging on that Old Rugged Cross With His own blood Mt. 27:29 “crown of thorns” With his tears Great pain brings tears Isaiah 50:6 “I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.”

11 The Face of Jesus Looks upon us in pity Shows us mercy
If we will be obedient the face of Jesus will be shining John 14:15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
