16 How to write a letter of application?
1. Why do you write this letter? Including how you heard about this job. 2. what are your qualification? Your education, relevant work experience, skills, languages and so on. 3.Say you are very interested in the job and the reasons, and describe how you meet the requirements 4.Enclosure Your CV ,photo, copy of degree, diploma, other certificates. 5. Complete the letter express your looking forward to hearing from the company and sign your name.

18 Writing I’m writing with reference to your ad. for a Production Secretary in the Guardian of 23 July 2001. I graduated from Madrid University in 1994 with a degree in Modern European languages. My full job was as a support secretary for the Training Director of a company which ran courses for software designers and IT managers. Since 1996 I have been working as a bilingual secretary for a large international publishing company.

21 Tips for interview 1. Be well prepared before the interview.
Find out about the company Practice how to answer questions possibly to be asked by the interviewer Prepare some questions to ask the company and the job details Make sure you know in advance exactly where the interview is to take place. Take a pen Take your school and college certificates with you and other useful testimonials you may have.

Wear smart ,formal clothes Have a haircut and bath one day before it. Arrive a few minutes early Don’t smoke Sit up straight Be polite Give clear answer to each question — avoid just answering YES or NO. If you don’t know how to answer a question, don’t pretend. Look straight at the interviewer

23 3 Show your best side Show your best side and your strengths: mature, energetic, enthusiastic, professional , cooperative, efficient, well-organized, well-educated, friendly, confident and so on don’t stress your shortcomings

Eye contact 8.Trust your first impression. ? 9.Let the candidate feel relaxed. 10Avoid talking too much yourself.

1.For hard questions you ‘d better be well prepared before the interview and when asked some unexpected questions ,you should be calm and think out a reasonable answer . 2.“Being honest” doesn’t mean “tell others everything you think of, you know or you have done”.
