4 Pre-Colonial Africa in relations to African culture and Tradition
During this era Africa was influenced by two major movements: the expansion and consolidation of Islam and the dispersion of the Bantu peoples which led to the development of many kingdoms and empires. Investigate the impact, interaction, and conflict which arose and the development of trade and exchange -- both of commodities and culture.

5 Trade across the Sahara, West Africa
Between the 11th and 15th centuries West Africa was a major trading region, exporting goods to Europe, Arabia, India, and China across the Sahara Desert. Pre-Colonial East Africa In pre-colonial times, communities in today’s Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya each had their own legal system based on their customs and practices.

6 These customs were enforced by
elders, clan leaders (and in some areas kings) who performed both civic and spiritual duties. The community determined the powers exercised by the clan elders.

21 Traditional weddings in Cameroon Culture.
In Cameroon culture, as with a lot of other African countries, traditional marriage rituals are fast being replaced by modern day more westernized practices. Cameroon wedding take on various forms depending on the tribe. Among some tribes in Cameroon, the groom pays a bride price to the bride's family, this consists of goats, fabric, oil, cash and farming tools.
