8 Department for Transport – Access for All Programme
£370m ring-fenced funding up to 2015 Funding across the Country to improve access at stations over and above franchise commitments/Network Rail renewals Works on site at Farnborough, Staines and Clapham Jct. Works commence during Summer 2011 at Earlsfield and Vauxhall Further stations schemes during Control Point 4 include Fleet, New Malden and Winchester

Project cost £2m Delivery agent – Network Rail Completion June 2011 One of the largest single footbridge span in the Country. 37mtrs long

Project cost £12.5m Delivery agent – Network Rail Completed May 2011 Improvements include:- - Lifts platforms 1-17 - Additional staircases to platform 11/12 & 15/16 - Brighton Yard Entrance – new forecourt with level access to the overbridge, new station entrance with full ticketing arrangements and accessible toilet

New process introduced from 2011/12 £7m pa Government funded initiative South West Trains 2011/12 allocation £446k Island Line £9k Schemes planned – subject to DfT approval include:- Accessible toilets, low counter ticket windows, handrails DfT ‘Mid Tier’ funding schemes – TOC submitted proposals - £1m limit (Alton, Aldershot, Chessington S, Richmond & Wokingham)

Honiton - Accessible toilet, compliant ramp access to both platforms, low counter ticket window, automatic doors Wokingham - Accessible toilet, low counter ticket window, automatic doors, new forecourt and blue badge parking area Andover - Booking hall enlarged, low counter ticket window, new forecourt and blue badge parking area Southampton Central - New level access station entrance, new accessible toilets, low counter ticket windows

18 Olympics 2012 Windsor & Eton Riverside - Level access, ramps Accessible toilet alterations/seating Weymouth - Compliant ramp to the station entrance, improvements to the toilets/seating Wimbledon - Improve visibility, safety and security of lift area also Council/NSIP forecourt scheme Richmond - Improve visibility, safety and security of lift area and seating provision
