2 Saturday, April 8 1:00–2:00 p.m. Village Store – Open for all your shopping needs! 2:00 p.m. Bingo with Alice – See if you hold a lucky card and can win a prize! – Activity Room 3:30 p.m. Wii Bowling with Peers – Play this interactive bowling on the big screen. Our volunteer is not able to come in today, but the games will still go on! – Activity Room 6:15 p.m. Saturday Night Movie – “New in Town” (2009) Renee Zellweger stars as Lucy Hill, a high- powered executive in love with her upscale Miami lifestyle Seeing a big promotion, Lucy agrees to move to a remote Minnesota town to over see the restructuring of a blue- collar manufacturing plant . After enduring icy roads, freezing weather, and a chilly reception from the locals, she soon warms up to the small town and its people – especially the town’s handsome union representative (Harry Connick, Jr). – Activity Room (Film is approx. 1 ¾ hours long)

3 Sunday, April 9 9:30 a.m. Transportation to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and United Methodist Church 1:15 pm Trip to Center Stage – If you signed up for the trip to Center Stage to see “Moon over Buffalo” please meet promptly in the front lobby. Cottage residents will be picked up at their doors. 1:30 p.m. Fireside Chat with Lindsay - Join us for a new program of casual conversation and reminiscence with our volunteer, Lindsay.! – Lifestyles Living Room 1:30 p.m. Sunday Movie - “I am Sam” (2001) Sam Dawson (Sean Penn) is a mentally challenged father raising his daughter Lucy with the help of an extraordinary group of friends. As Lucy turns seven and begins to intellectually surpass her father, their close bond is threatened when their situation comes under the scrutiny of a social worker who wants Lucy placed in foster care. Faced with a seemingly unwinnable case, Sam vows to fight the legal system and forms an unlikely alliance with Rita Harrison, (Michele Pfeiffer) a high-powered, self-absorbed attorney . Together they struggle to convince the system that Sam deserves to get his daughter back and, in the process fuse a bond that results in a unique testament to the power of unconditional love. – Activity Room (Film is approx. 2 ¼ hours long)

4 Monday, April 10 9:00 a.m. Prayer Group- If you are looking for a way to give of yourself during the Lenten season to benefit others, why not consider joining this group. The group offers prayers to those in need. You can pray out loud or silently. – Activity Room Chapel 9:45 a.m. Exercise – Keep fit and flexible. – Lifestyles Dining Room 10:30 a.m. Trivia – See how many fun facts you can remember! – Lifestyles  Sunroom               2:30 p.m. Monthly Birthday Party – Join us as we celebrate those born in the month of April. Cake and punch will be served and music will be provided by Tommy and Cuz. – Activity Room 6:00 p.m. Uno with Peers – Enjoy playing this fun card game with your peers. – Activity Room

5 Tuesday, April 11 9:15 a.m. Rosary – Pray the Rosary with our volunteer, Pat Barry. – Lifestyles Sunroom 9:00 am – 1:00 pm – Renters Rebate - A representative will be here to meet with you for renter’s rebate. You must have an appointment. No walk-ins will be accepted. If you forgot the time of your appointment, please call Donna at the front desk ( ). Be sure to bring all of the necessary documents with you to your appointment. – Activity Room 10:00 a.m. Worship Service – All are welcome to attend. – Activity Room Chapel 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Village Store - The store will be open for all your shopping needs. 2:00 p.m. “Finding Common Ground for Positive Aging.” In this session, you will have the opportunity to reflect on your life experiences through various decades and think about who has influenced you over your life, what you learned at different points in your life, your accomplishments, etc. Sue Saxton, Bishop Wicke Social Worker, will lead the group. - Activity Room 6:00 p.m. Skip-Bo – Play this fun card game with our volunteer, Joanne. – Sunroom  

6 Wednesday, April 12 9:00 a.m. Service of Prayer and Remembrance– Join us as we remember our friend and neighbor, Martha Lebo who recently passed away. – Activity Room Chapel 9:15 a.m. Transportation to Target and Kohl’s at Hawley Lane Mall and local banks – Please sign up at the front desk. 10:30 a.m. Piano Music with Kathleen – Our volunteer, Kathleen, will play a lovely selection of songs. Sing along to your favorites!– Lifestyles Sunroom 2:00 p.m. Drum Circle – Therapeutic rhythm techniques have been used for thousands of years to create and maintain physical, mental, and spiritual health. Drum circle facilitator, Lydia Smith, will lead the group. You don’t need any musical experience to enjoy this fun activity! If you have not yet experienced a drum circle, why not see what it’s all about! – Activity Room 6:15 p.m. Wednesday Night Movie – “La Bamba” (1987) The plane crash that killed rocker Buddy Holly also took the life of Ritchie Valens, a 17-year-old Mexican-American who rocketed to fame with the hit "La Bamba." The film paints a vivid portrait of Valens's modest upbringing and rise to stardom. – Activity Room (Film is approx. 1 ¾ hours long)

7 Thursday, April 13 9:30 am. Prayer Shawl Ministry – If you like to knit or crochet, you are welcome to join this group. All items made will be donated to those in need.- Sunroom 10:00 a.m. Easter Tea – Wear your favorite Easter bonnet and join us for a cup of tea, a slice of Babka bread, and social time with your neighbors and friends. (Coffee will also be served) If you don’t have a hat, we will have a few extras on hand. - Sunroom 11:00 a.m. St. Margaret Mary Catholic Service – All are invited to attend. – Activity Room Chapel 2:30 p.m. Bingo– See if you hold a lucky card and can win a prize! – Activity Room 6:00 p.m. Left, Right, Center – Play this fun easy-to-learn dice game with your peers. Bring 15 pennies to start and see how much you can win! – Sunroom

8 Friday, April 14 9:15 a.m. Transportation to Stop and Shop, Shoprite, Big Y and Local Banks Please sign up at the front desk. 10:00 a.m. Good Friday Service with Chaplain Cathy Nickse – All are welcome to attend! – Activity Room 1:30 pm Hymn Sing with Norma – Sing many of your favorite hymns, with our volunteer, Norma. - Activity Room 2:30 pm Stations of the Cross with Norma – Activity Room 3:30 p.m. Ten Cent Bingo with Gerry – Pay 10 cents a card to play. Winner of each game will win the money in the pot. If there is more than one winner the pot will be split. Gather up your dimes and see how much money you can win. – Activity Room 6:00 p.m. Bowling with Libby – See how many pins you can knock down! Our volunteer, Libby, will oversee the games. If you don’t want to play, why not come down and cheer on our bowlers! - Sunroom
