Oktoberfest Happy Hour Wednesday, October 29 th 6:00 p.m. Campus-wide Trick or Treat Friday, October 31 st - 1:00 pm Long Hill Elementary School 2 nd Grade Visit - 2:15 pm Halloween Party Lunch Trip On Friday, November 7 th we are going to Aldario’s in Milford, CT for lunch. They have a prix fixe lunch menu (see attached) which includes appetizer, entrée, glass of wine or soft drink, coffee and chef’s dessert. We will leave Wesley Heights at 11:15 am and return at approximately 2:00 pm. If you would like to sign up for this trip, please call Linda at 203-225-7981.

2. 8:30 a.m. Wesley Village 5K Race – Residents will gather at Bishop Wicke to cheer on the runners. If you want to be part of this fun event, be sure to sign up at the front desk for a ride. Don’t forget to wear something warm. Breakfast items will be available if you don’t want to eat before you go! 10:00 a.m. Dog Visit – Enjoy a friendly visit with our therapy dog(s). – Sunroom 1:00–2:00 p.m. Village Store – Store will be open for your shopping needs. 2:00 p.m. Bingo – See if you hold a lucky card and can win a prize! – Dining Room 3:30 p.m. Wii Bowling - Enjoy a bit of friendly competition playing this interactive bowling game on the big screen TV with our volunteer Samantha. If you don’t want to play, why not come down and cheer on our bowlers! – Activity Room 6:00 p.m. Saturday Night Movie – “The Ranger, The Cook, and A Hole in The Sky” – It’s 1919 and the U.S. Forest Service is busy at work in the remote wilderness of the West. For many, like the hardened Bill (Sam Elliott), blasting rock and blazing trails has become a way of life. 3. 9:30 a.m. Transportation to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and United Methodist Church 1:00 p.m. Sunday Movie – “We Bought A Zoo”- When his teenage son gets into trouble, Benjamin Mee (Matt Damon) gives up a lucrative newspaper job to move his family to the most unlikely of places – a zoo! Enjoy learning about African customs, fashion, and dance. After coming to America, Rita lived for a while in Fairbanks, Alaska and she will talk a bit about living there while being the only person in the state from her native country. Learn something new and enjoy something different!! - Activity Room 3:15 p.m. Scrabble with Peers – Keep your mind sharp by playing this classic board game. – Sunroom 6:30 p.m. Uno – Play this fun and fast-moving card game with our volunteer Veronica. - Sunroom Monday, October 27

Have you heard something interesting on the news, read a good book lately, or just have something on your mind….why not share with others and get the conversation started in this informal setting. – Southeast Lounge 10:00 a.m. Meditation with Pete – Activity Room (chapel side) 11:00 a.m. Exercise – Keep fit and flexible. – Activity Room 2:00 p.m. Ten-Cent Bingo – Pay 10 cents per card to play. Winner of each game takes the money in the pot. If more than one person wins a game, the pot will be split. Gather up your dimes and see how much money you can win! – Activity Room 2:00 p.m. Oil Painting with Janna – Sunroom 6:00 p.m. Campus-Wide Trick or Treat – Staff members’ children will be trick-or-treating across the campus. Their first stop will be Wesley Heights where they will come through the dining room in their costumes. We’ll be serving light refreshments and entertainment will be provided by Larry Batter.
