2. 9:30 a.m. Transportation to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and United Methodist Church 1:00 p.m. Sunday Movie – “The Christmas Candle” - In the village of Gladbury, legend has it that every 25 years an angel visits the village candlemaker and touches a single candle. Whoever lights this candle receives a miracle on Christmas Eve. But in 1890, when a progressive young minister arrives in Gladbury, his quest to modernize the village sets him at odds with the candlemaker who fights to preserve the legacy of the Christmas Candle. Thursday, December 25 2:00 pm Holiday Movie – “The Nativity Story” (2006) - Betrothed to much-older Joseph (Oscar Isaac), Mary (Keisha Castle-Hughes) must remain a maiden for one year, but she subsequently receives a visit from the angel Gabriel, who tells her of her destiny.
