Take responsibility for one’s contribution to the conflict. Step 2. Reversal & restitution Address whatever caused the other to feel hurt and violated. Be open to efforts to reconcile. Seek to correct injustices instead of exacting revenge. Step 3. Reconciliation & renewal Do not retaliate. Forgive and be open to receive forgiveness. Resolve to help the other to change. Foster good will.
