2. DESCRIPTION B play around. B1,B2 and B3 run forward to R1,R2 andR3.
Defenders make a choice :
who takes pivot
who attacks back court player
Variations :
B first go straight forward to one of the defenders, so that is clear from the start who must attack him
B in turns : run forward a bit to the left and then to the right
B may choose whatever he wants to run forward somewhere in between Red defenders, so they have to talk and decide
COACHING POINTS
side steps
small, fast steps
low to the floor
as much contact to the floor as possible
running forward to defend
small, short steps
arms slightly bent,forward
never jump
back into defence
always keep watching the ball
arms wide open to prevent players to pass to pivot
defending pivot :
static pivot : stand in front
agile pivot : try to defend when standing, moving behind him
one hand in the back of pivot
other hand between the hands of the pivot (his eye height)
make a choice as early as possible
defender of pivot calls out info
always use same words for info

3. DESCRIPTION B2 and B3 try to pass on between the defenders.
These defenders help each other if necessary.
COACHING POINTS
defending in a personal duel
arms are slightly bent
arms in front of you
prevent attackers to come into between your arms
move sidewards along with your attacker and stay between goal and attacker
put counter pression onto the attacker's movements
feet movements are most important together with slightly stretched arms
never jump, keep close contact with the floor

4. DESCRIPTION Pass B1-B2-B1 who runs forward to the defence.
Defenders R1 and R2 make a choice :

5. DESCRIPTION B2 tries to penetrate in between the defenders.
Meanwhile, B3 comes around and gets ball from B2.
R1 and R2 give/take over attackers.

6. DESCRIPTION R1 throws from the left wing.
Sprints to cone at the other side, gets ball from B1 and throws at the goal.
Sprint to cone in the center, get ball from B1 and throw at the goal.
Do this 2 or 3 times.
COACHING POINTS
jump shot from the wings
during forward run bring up the ball to shoulder height
third step is explosive and large
in the air the hip should go backward together with the throwing arm
pull up other leg untill upper leg is horizontal
screw back the hip on the highest point into the direction of the goal
the arm follows this movement explosively to the front
point after the ball where it should go
land on the same leg as you jumped off
jump shot from the wings in 3,2,1 step rythym, jump off with 'wrong' foot
