“born accessible,” ALL tech workers must be familiar with the fundamental concepts and skills of accessible design and development – from DayOne.

4 How do we get there? Undergraduates must be exposed to
the foundational concepts of accessible technology before they graduate – ALL undergrads in computer science, design, user experience, HCI, and related fields.

5 How do we get there? Tech companies must require that new hires have
-          Shared challenge, industry, academia have now come together to create models for teaching and training students of technology to create accessible experiences – TEACH ACCESS, founded in 2015. Tech companies must require that new hires have these basic skills upon start-up.

We’re facing explosive growth in digital technology and while we’ve been used to basically two platforms (desktop and mobile), the industry is about to leap into many, many new platforms including Cloud, AI, wearables, VR, sensors, IoT, 3D printing, robotics and more.
