North Tahoe School is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and responsible environment where all students achieve academic success through continual effort and growth. The committed work of our school community will result in all students being college and/or career ready for the 21st Century and prepared to be thoughtful and productive citizens.

6th, 7th, 8th grade: 6 49 min. each with one 32 min. intervention class
5th grade works in blocks of time to access all core areas with one 49 min. Elective and PE class on a rotating A/B schedule

6. Why Standards Grading?
We want to improve student achievement for all students in every classroom every day; and research supports standards grading as a basis of communication that helps students learn more effectively through better feedback. We also use standards grading to develop a common language and understanding among students, parents and teachers around the priority learning standards.

10. Measure A is a low-cost, flat parcel tax that generates funding for the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District (TTUSD). Thanks to Measure A our local students have access to an array of opportunities that have ceased to exist in most public schools.
