Team Expectations Always do the right thing in and out of school! Be on time (5 mins early is on time and on time is late) Be present at all team practices, meetings and functions Respect yourself, coaches, and teammates at all times Downingtown Athletic Code of Conduct. Substance Abuse, Team Code & School Code

5 Practice Policy Practice Practice will never be cancelled for weather.
Always have footwear for inside, turf or grass Never be late or miss practice. Schedule appointments around practice. Communicate all attendance issues to your coach.

6 All players must have gym shoes everyday.
Downingtown West Football Practice Schedule All players must have gym shoes everyday. Summer Schedule: 6/26-8/2: Freshmen Workout Monday/Wednesdays – 6:30-8 pm DWHS Bring sneakers, cleats and a water bottle 1st Week : Aug 21st – Aug 25th 4-6:30 – arrive at 3:45 Season 3:15- 5:45

7 Attendance & Behavior Unexcused absence.
1st – loss of job 2nd – non participation. 3rd – removal from team Attendance will be recorded daily. Perfect attendance is expected. Game Week practice? No practice = no play School Citizenship Counts! OSS, ISS, DETENTION, HAIR-CUT, COLLEGE GAMES, NO RIDE, H-WORK, PROJECT DUE, FAMILY VACATION, CHURCH/ SCOUT CAMP

8 Equipment & Locker Room
Our equipment is the best money can buy. It is protective and must be worn at all times. DASD will provide the gear! Do not store game cloth in locker room over night. Keep the locker room neat and wash your gear. No cleats in the school. No horse play in the locker room. Lock up anything of personal value, or give it to coach!

Academic Expectations You must reach DHS and PIAA minimum standards to achieve athletic eligibility. DWHS – Pass 4 / 6 PIAA – Pass 4/6. Monitored Weekly 9th and 10th Grade Count!
