OBJECTIVE 7: Strengthen English Language and Composition Skills The technology component developed at the beginning of the fall 2001 semester included English tutorials and study skills building. SSS participants had access to student computers in the SSS office and also had an opportunity to borrow laptops for a total of a two-week period each time, enabling them to research material for their English classes and submit professional, typed material.
