Summary Of The Trip… Tuesday 27th – Travel, Arrive in Marrakesh, Cross Country train journey from Marrakesh to Rabat Wednesday 28th – Visit to local school, sitting in on a language lesson, tour of Salé, Visit local craftsmen and apprenticeship schemes, Arabic lesson Thursday 29th – Visit to Rabat, Tour of the Medina and Kasbah, Tour of the British Council and meeting with Director, Shopping in Rabat souks Friday 30th – Food Distribution in nearby village, Tea and Moroccan patisserie in local house, Cous cous in local house, Coffee and discreet view of Friday prayer, African drumming workshop, Packing Saturday – Cross country train journey from Marrakesh to Rabat, Travel back to the UK

Code of Conduct No students may consume alcohol on the trip, and any students found to be consuming alcohol will lose out on privileges and possibly future participation in Academy trips. Buying knives, gas sprays, lighters, or any other potentially dangerous items available in the shops, will be regarded as irresponsible, and items will be confiscated Students who make a nuisance of themselves to either staff, fellow students, or other guests or staff at the riad, or the general public, stand to lose privileges, and may be denied the right to take part in certain activities In particular, staff instructions about bedtimes, staying in your own bedroom, and noise levels MUST BE OBEYED Show respect at all times to religious and social norms
