Town & Country Planning Act 1947 (Localism Act 2012, National Planning Policy Framework 2012) - Planning Policy/Development Control. Traffic in Towns 1963 (National Infrastructure Plan 2011, Aviation Policy, HS2). Land Use Planning - Planners (Geography, Environmental Science, plus Architecture, Economics, Politics, Social Science). 3 Qualifications First Degree - BSc Geography or Environmental Science is ideal (with Planners , Engineers also in Transportation Planning, together with Economists, Social & Political Scientists). Second Degree - Masters Degree in Transportation Planning useful, but not essential (other Masters Courses in Land Use Planning/Transportation Planning related issues). Professional - Member of a recognised Professional Body working within the Transportation Planning discipline, e.g. Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation, Royal Town Planning Institute (Institution of Civil Engineers). Transport Planning Professional (TPP) - Chartered Transport Planner. Transport Planning Society.

10 Planning Application Runway Extension
The Planning Application was for: The Extension of the Main Runway and Associated Infrastructure, including the Realignment and Tunnelling of a Section of the A45 Coventry Road; a new Air Traffic Control Tower; Revisions to the Existing Fuel Farm; a new Exit Taxiway; the Treatment of Obstacles; and the Diversion of Services and Watercourses.
