Dual: 29.53” W x 54.14” H

11 Feature/Function/Benefit
Customer Connection Terminals available for connection to the system Allows for easy connect and disconnect to the SGC-250 All In One System Every component required is laid out on the SGC-250 System in one package eliminates the need for additional required components Designed, Built, and Tested by one company Basler is only company to handle system from start to finish Eliminates additional time and fees associated with joint company designs Minimal Component Use Only include the necessary components to allow the SGC-250 to run efficiently Increases MTBF and reduces amount of maintenance required Field Flashing Provides supplementary excitation until generator terminal voltage reaches a certain level Prevents Generator Terminal Voltage from dropping too low

12 Control Modes Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
In AVR mode, the DECS-250 regulates the excitation level in order to maintain the generator terminal voltage setpoint Field Current Regulation (FCR) In FCR mode, the DECS-250 regulates the level of excitation current it supplies to the field Power Factor Regulates the machine to a specific power factor Var Regulates the reactive power of the machine

13 Communication Provisions
USB Connects the DECS-250 with the PC operating software BESTCOMSPlus® Ethernet-100 Base-T(Modbus™ TCP) Allows for connection to a PC or BESTCOMSPlus RS-485 with Modbus RTU Used for communication with external accessories such as the AEM-2020 and CEM-2020 RS-232 for external tracking between dual DECS units (backwards compatible)

14 Monitoring Provisions
DECS-250 Real Time Monitoring 2 User-Selectable Plots Oscillography Up to 6 Oscillography records with up to 1200 data points recorded per parameter Saved in Non-Volatile memory Sequence of Events Recorder 1023 events stored per record scanned every four milliseconds. The DECS-250 is usually set slower so as to capture the whole system response to stay in the correct control mode while the BE1-11m is set faster to capture every event that happens to alarm and/or trip when necessary.
