By mounting a pressure sensor on the stack, and installing a modulating stack damper, the furnace pressure can be controlled. This is done by using a PI loop and trimming on any chances in the stack pressure. By regulating the stack pressure on a boiler, you can increase the efficiency of heat transfer due to the combustion velocities being slower.

The control of a boiler’s TDS is essential to ensure that it is operating at its most efficient. The probe measures the TDS either as a timed sample, or as a continuous sample when using an Autoflame TDS valve. The TDS probe requires a Water Level PCB to be fitted to the MM.
