By submitting your safety photo entry, it is understood that UAW-GM can reuse the submitted photo on the UAW-GM JAS website and as part of UAW-GM communications. The submitter will be contacted prior to any photo use. If photos are taken on company property, please be responsible and abide by local site approved photo requirements.

UAW-GM Safety Week
Photo Submission Guidelines
Participants should explain what motivates them to be safe each day as they answer ‘What motivates me to be safe? Who is waiting for me to return home safely every day?’ by submitting a creative picture and a few lines of text to explain.
Contest submissions will be accepted from Monday, August 31 through Wednesday, September 30, 2015.
All photo entries should be submitted via to Submissions are preferred electronically via even though manual submissions will be accepted by site safety. If mailing, please send to:
UAW-GM Center for Human Resources, H&S Department, 200 Walker St. Detroit, MI
Each participant will receive a certificate of participation. Certificate template will be provided on the JAS website and will be printed and presented locally as determined by Safety Personnel and Site Leadership.
Review of submissions will be based on:
Creativity
Sincerity
Originality
Relevance to UAW-GM Safety Week Theme
Global Safety & Industrial Hygiene will present awards to the highest quality submissions globally. Regional & Country Safety Managers will be consulted as needed. Global Photo Contest winners will be contacted no later than Friday, October 9.
