6. Special Area Classes
Students will rotate through each special area four days of the week.
Mondays will be Integrated Arts Day, when each week students will receive an extra hour of art, music, or physical education.
For this reason, we ask students to be prepared and wear gym shoes on Integrated Arts days in addition to their regular P.E. class.

7. School Lunches School Lunch Price: $2.45 Milk or Juice: $ 0.85
Students will be given a student identification number, which will be used as their point of sale PIN.
Students may pay in cash for their lunches; however, it is recommended that they add money to their account from which to deduct to prevent lost or stolen money.

15. Placement Process
Students in K-5th Grade are placed heterogeneously in homeroom classes through a data driven process.
2nd through 5th Grade math groupings occur.
Placement each year builds off of student ability, student needs, personal characteristics (social/emotional), teacher recommendations, & parental input, to find the best fit and blend students into microcosms of society and prepare them for the 21st Century and life beyond North Allegheny.
Math placement testing will occur the first 1-2 days of school.

PURPOSE?
