15 Placement Process Students in K-5th Grade are placed heterogeneously in homeroom classes through a data driven process. 2nd through 5th Grade math groupings occur. Placement each year builds off of student ability, student needs, personal characteristics (social/emotional), teacher recommendations, & parental input, to find the best fit and blend students into microcosms of society and prepare them for the 21st Century and life beyond North Allegheny. Math placement testing will occur the first 1-2 days of school.
