1. - Kindergarten News Date: August 25th, 2017 Learning Targets
-Language arts: Color words – red, yellow, orange, and green. Have you seen the color song/poems that go with each color?
-Writing: Letters – M, S, F, B, and T. Not only are we working hard to form these upper case/lower case letters, we are learning their sounds too. Mrs. Lovin tries to fool us! I’ve attached a copy of the ABC chart we use at school for you to use at home.

-Math: Pattern blocks, shapes, and number identification with various number/object matches.
Misc. Information
-Homework: Keep reading those paper books. Thank you for having your child read their paper book three times to you, signing the front, and sending it back to school!
-THANK YOU to our PTO! If you haven’t joined the PTO, it’s a great group. They do so many wonderful things for our staff/students during the year to support our school. If you see a member, tell them “Thank you”!

-Benjamin Bear spirit wear is Wednesdays. You can wear your spirit shirt or orange/black. Some students also like to dress in spirit wear on Fridays too. You will see staff wear “college wear” on late start days to encourage students to go to a college of their choice. Just wait, college will soon be here!
