2. Reasons to have an online party
Be the party planner of your own party & host your own event on your profile & Find the hostess as a prize or find the hostess first and run the party as an event.
Location- You don’t have to leave the house, carry a kit, find a babysitter & neither do you guests!
Increases your sales and points for the month.
You can show people what you want them to see, like special offers, new promotions, end of line & what you love!
Everyone that’s online or joins your event will see your posts.
Less hassle of inviting friends, refreshments- some people don’t like having parties or attending them.

3. Where to start with your own party?
Set a date that’s going to get the most attendees.( Best days are Sunday's, 8pm- Kids in bed, Uniform sorted, everyone's relaxing).
Make sure your location for the party is appropriate/ professional- Facebook page- don’t use your personal profile.
Set up the event 14 days before the event. Get everyone to invite friends along. Create a prize for the person who invites the most friends.
Invite people to attend- always have a mailing list of past customers and leads.
Create a HOOK- What's in it for them? Why should they attend? Luxury perfume prize, Wholesale hour or who will be the hostess and get 15% off their order & a hostess gift.

4. Advertising. Selling pages (daily post)
Anywhere online where you will get others interested in what your doing- your blog or website.
Invite people to attend from other business pages(salons, nail techs- they can see the products and join as preferred customers)
Provide them with a HOOK in the advert- Join my online party and receive 10% off all the products during the event, chances of winning some fab prizes or be a hostess and get 15% off your own order and a wholesale section.

5. Plan & prepare.
Be organised. Write down your plan & prepare your time and stick to it.
Plan the structure of your party- Limit it to 1 to 2 hours (toilet breaks)
Welcome & why your doing the party.
Add games-How many sweets in the jar, quiz, Duck duck goose.
Get your guests visiting your website or blog for clues or information to quiz questions.
Special offers only available at your online party.
Show them products that are on sale or on offer in between games.
Extra special gift or discount for booking a party or ordering over £50.

6. Keep it simple!! Don’t over complicate things .
Take your own personal pictures of products you want them to see. Make it personal.
Provide fun and games but so they have to go to your website, facebook page photos or blog.
Tell them something about yourself and why you join FM- what product you love and why, don’t try to sell it, be personal( kids in bed- work part time, they will think OMG I can do what she's doing, I want to join FM as well)
Your first one will feel fast paced but as long as you have structured your party then you wont feel overwhelmed. (write your evening down before hand)
Show a selection of products and ask the guests which is their favourite.

7. Summarise and collect your orders.
Explain to guests how they can purchase. (Message)
When the orders need to be in( order before midday, the day after and the hostess will be drawn to this time too)
How they place their orders( paypal or invoice)
Did you have people joining in on games. Did people buy or not? Why?
Make a list of attendees and send them all a THANK YOU message, the following day offering them a chance to order or to be a product tester.

8. Be the party planner.
ENJOY- like a normal party, have fun & be yourself!
ENGAGE- keep asking questions, games and talk to everyone.
SHOW your guests why they NEED products(think about layering products, Buy a foundation and a primer) offer special prices if they buy a foundation and a primer & encourage them to spend more.
Always say YES- don’t let them say NO. ( I don’t need that , or it wouldn’t be useful) Convince them to say yes from the start.
NO SALES? Don’t worry. You have spread the word about FM and how fabulous the prices are. You have had fun and tried something new, plus gained more confidence for the next one.

10. Option 2. Be the party planner & find a hostess
Advertise for friends to have a party- You create the event for them and make them the hostess ,offer them 15% off their order.
FREE gift for orders over £170.
THEY will invite all their friends and family to the event.
YOU will do games and sales like a normal online party.
YOU will collect all the points and make some extra profit for sitting at home for 2 hours , running a friends party for them.
