5 1 day 2985 1. Compare your food servings with the recommended servings for the 4 main food groups. I eat (2) servings of breads, cereals, rice, pasta group where I supposed to eat (6-11) servings. For fruit group I eat (4) servings as its recommended amount (2-4) servings. Also I eat (3) servings of vegetables group the same amount that I should have (3-5) servings. In addition to milk, yogurt and cheese group I eat (2) servings from it as I must have (2-3) servings. Beside that, I eat only (2) servings from meat, beans, eggs, nuts group which is fine according to its amount (2-3) servings. Finally, for Fats, oils and sweets group I eat 35.4% which is not good percentage to because I should eat (20- 35%) only. I also drink water (8 glasses everyday) which is important to have. 2. Compare your % values with the recommended % values for protein, carbohydrates, and fats. According to my daily diet calories it is it contains 9.3% of protein but it is less than recommended percentage value (10-35%) so, it is not good value because I do not eat enough meat, nuts, eggs and legumes. Also, it contains 55.3% of carbohydrates which is between the recommended value (45-65%) so, it is good value but I eat carbohydrates from combination between complex and simple such as soda, sweets, fruits, potatoes, and bread. In addition to that it contains 35.4% of fats that is not acceptable because I eat a lot of junk foods such as sweets and soft drinks and it is out of the recommended limit (20-35%). 3. What diet changes should you make? Mention fiber, types of protein, drinks, types of fat, etc. I have to increase my protein percentage by focusing on meat, vegetables, beans, legumes, and eggs. Also, I have to focus on the complex carbohydrates food such as pasta, rice, breads, potatoes and some fruits because it decreases the blood pressure and gives the body enough energy. I also must lower the fat percentage by having low fats products such as milk and cheese, lean fish and meat, reduce the fried food and stay a way from the soft drinks and candies. For the fiber I have to focus on the fruits, vegetables, bread and pasta that decrease cancer disease. 4. Are you eating enough calories? How many calories should you be consuming daily? (see According to the previous website I found that I am eating enough calories based on my gender, age, and physical activity. I should have calories but my daily diet calories is 2985.
