Popular intellectual games for corporate events

2 What this is New, simple and easily adjusted format of an interactive event that allows you to entertainingly – and at the same time effectively – hold the evening part of a conference, a seminar or a field meeting. Interesting questions, surprising and funny answers, atmosphere of easy and informal communication, possibility to show your best and lots of positive emotions – that is what awaits every participant of the game! We can put together a pre-entry for the «brain-ring» during the registration as well as by using the event mobile app*. At a certain moment the app will display the «Register as a participant» and «Register as a spectator» buttons and it will help form the teams. *if you want to know more about these apps, send a message to !

3 How this will work The guests take their seats at the tables, where the iPads were placed beforehand. After a short briefing and «test round» the game starts. Round after round the host «activates» questions. Every time the participants have to choose the correct answer out of a suggested list. The results are displayed on a big screen and the host can analyze and comment the answers with the teams. After the end of all rounds all results are displayed on a big screen, the host announces and awards the winners.

4 Team tasks Time after time teams will switch from “competition” to “co-operation” mode. They get “collective” tasks: the better they com-municate, the faster they complete them. …every team gets a part of a map of a complex maze. The key can be found only by coming together and drawing a consolidated map. If the team leaders don’t share information, trying to outdo their competitors, they will lose. Every team gets an encoded word and a key to the cipher… but it’s not their cipher! The goal is to meet the team that has your key and give the key that you have got to the right team as soon as possible. The mechanics of tasks like this can be diverse and can also reflect the business-processes and your corporate values.

5 Additional features The host can occasionally announce a «Blitz» round. Every team must answer a series of questions and the correct answer’s «value» is as great as the time that it took the team to answer. Seconds run out fast, therefore training the team’s ability to quickly communicate in stressful situations. We can put special «creative tasks» between questions: each team has to take a picture based on a given theme co complete this task. A snapshot from a movie, that is reinterpreted according to corporate values. A sculptural composition. A picture of the new marketing strategy – there are always plenty of ideas. Taken picture can be edited before it is sent to the jury.

6 What business goals can be achieved with this format
The subject of questions can be free or connected with the Customer’s business goals. We can choose and create questions about the products, history or corporate values of the company. In that case the quiz will be especially effective for: Interest, inspire and rally the Company’s employees; Consolidate the knowledge which was received during the training or the business part; Tell the participants about the new product or other important news of the Company; Remember the significant dates and events in corporate history; Get feedback from the participants.

7 Game regulations and timing example
17:00-17:15 The participants sit at the tables and meet each other. The host instructs them. 17:15-17:40 First round. 8 questions with from 4 to 5 answers to choose from. The results are displayed on the scoreboard, the correct answer lights up. For answering correctly the team get a fixed amount of points. 17:40-18:00 Second round. 6 questions with from 4 to 5 answers to choose from. The total amount of points is fixed, i.e. the amount of points that is awarded to the teams that answer correctly depends on how many teams answer incorrectly. Example: 240 points are played on. If 10 out of 12 teams answer correctly then each of these 10 teams get 24 points. And if only 3 teams answer correctly, then each of them gets 80 points. 18:00-18:10 A short break. 18:10-18:30 Third round. 6 «open» questions, i.e. the participants have to answer in text. The answers are displayed on a screen. The host and the jury point out the correct answers and analyze «debatable cases». 18:30-18:45 Fourth round: captains contest. 5 «open» questions. Once in a round a captain can ask his team for help, but in that case he only gets half of the points. 18:45-18:50 «Blitz»: from 5 to 7 constantly incoming questions with a time limit. The faster the team answers every question the more points they get. 18:50-19:00 Analysis of results and awards ceremony.

8 Other options Our technological platform and our years experience in organizing interactive events allows us to embody any plot. We repeatedly created «replicas» of shows like: «Intuition» (ask the employees about interesting facts from their life and hobbies and make a game out of meeting the team) «Eurovision» (it’s not necessary to sing: the performances can be presented as staging of communicating with clients. Talent show winners can be chosen by spectator’s vote, product managers or the management) «Family feud» (let the employees try to guess their colleagues’ typical answers to topical business questions!)
