2 Biography of George Eastman
George Eastman is an entrepreneur that was born on July 12,1854 in Waterville, New York. Eastman founded the company Kodak, which makes camera and film. The use of rolled film would become popularized. He helped bring the photography into the mainstream. He had two sisters, their names are Katie Eastman and Ellen Maria. His parents were George Washington Eastman and Maria Kilbourn.

4 How was he inspired He was inspired to create the roll film for the camera by reading a new process that was discussed using a dry glass plate instead of using a wet one. He would begin experimenting and created his own dry plate for his camera.

5 Explanation of the invention and its benefits
Roll film was now abled to be use in daylight without it becoming faded away. Roll film is a spool photographic film that is wounded up. It has backings that able it to be protect from white light. It created opportunities for pictures to be recorded as the picture was taken. It is used in Eastman’s Kodak camera which could hold up to 100 pictures in a single camera.

8 Exposure time The exposure time of the roll film was 15mm and 8mm at that period of time. Primarily was used for short movies as it had 100 sheets of film in the Kodak camera.
