7 CERTIFICATION The Certified Lighting Designer (CLD) certification is the first evidence-based certification in lighting design in the world. The certification process is designed to assess whether an individual is able to operate as a lead architectural lighting designer in a professional and proficient manner. Goals and Outcomes (satisfy project requirements/intent). Collaboration (cross-disciplinary). Ingenuity (demonstrate innovation, creativity and resourcefulness). Synthesis (integration of technical and aesthetics elements). Science (applying principles of light to meet technical criteria). Our Principal, Toh Yah Li, is recognized with Certified Lighting Designer Certification and 5th in the world to receive this recognition.

14 Lighting Design Phase:
1. Concept Design, to develop the lighting concept from the other design principal, what role light can play. 2. Design Development, to turn conceptual ideas into design details and suggestions for lighting equipment and material finishes. 3. Production, to produce comprehensive package of drawings, lighting specifications and associated document, for construction phase. 4. Construction, to support the construction team, onsite visit and quick response to coordination and installation issues, to ensure the delivery of lighting concept and effect.
